I was amazed, and relieved to find this site to be so succesful. I was really in a jam when my previous arrangement fell through. I heard from a friend about the site, posted an add, and in one evening I had my pick. That's right, I got to choose whom I wanted to live with. It was like they were bidding for me, I got to choose someone that I am comfortable and compatable with. I used to put ads in Newspapers for rooms for rent...this turned out to be a disaster. Locals with no jobs and trashy people were the only ones calling. I only used Roommates.com this time and ended up getting 2 great people for roommates. Very pleased!! I will always use this site in the future! Thanks a bunch! - Sally
