Summer is here, and there are so many fun things to do. It's easy to find yourself wrapped up in Netflix on the couch all summer long but you're missing out on so much. So, let's explore all your summertime options, and there are plenty to do with a friend or roommate!

Hit a pool, any pool.
There's something about the sun on your face and the smell of sunblock on your skin that brings happiness. It's not just the smell of chlorine that really wraps you into all the fun-in-the-sun, it's the refreshing beverages and the quality time and memories you're making. Some of the best times are the people you're able to meet!

So don't let yourself get pasty in the darkness of your house. Get some sun, catch a little buzz, and make a new friend or two—it's also an excellent opportunity to spend some quality time with your roommate.

Hit the trail
Alright, so depending on where you are, hiking may not be an option for you. Even if hiking isn't in your city, there is usually a spot you can drive to! So, let fresh air fill your lungs, and feel the endorphins feed your euphoria. You never know what you might find in the great outdoors.

Play some games
Somedays are just too hot to be outside, but you don't want to be miserably bored inside either. So, what better way to pass the time than with some games. There are all types ranging from innocent to straight up WTF are we even playing...it's just fun. So open up a bag of chips, hit up a few friends, tell your roommate to get out of their effing room and get some games going. Cards Against Humanity always turns into a good time.

Make your space look nice
When you have nothing better to do because it is too 🤬 hot out, see how you can better the space you live in. Unless you are IN LOVE with the way it looks, there is always room for improvement and it doesn't have to be expensive! There are all types of DIY projects online that will make your place super nice, even if it turns out to be a complete disaster, at least you did something to pass the time and you've picked up a new skill!
