Your age on Roommates.com is automatically calculated based on the birth date entered on your account. All users must be 18 years or older to create an account.
If you entered your birth date incorrectly during sign-up, or if you wish to hide your age from your public profile and listings, you can update this anytime by editing your Profile:
On Desktop & Mobile Browsers: Click or tap the Menu Icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner > select Edit Profile.
In the iOS App: Tap More in the bottom-right corner > select Edit Profile.
Updating/Hiding Your Birth Date:
Navigate to Edit Profile.
Scroll down to the Birth Date section.
Select your correct birth year, month, and day using the dropdown menus.
(Optional) Check or uncheck the Hide my age box to control whether your age is visible to other members on your public profile and listings.
Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click Save to apply your updates.
